Posts Stagnant? Look to Other Blogs for Inspiration

Have you been posting away on your blog and suddenly find that you’ve hit the wall and wind up going a day or two without posting because you don’t feel that you’ve got quality material to post? Maybe what you need to do is look for new sources of information to get the posts flowing again.

Before I started BNN, I had about five different blogs in my feed reader that focused on blogging and WordPress. But posting links to those five other sites repeatedly was going to get old pretty quickly, so I needed to find new sources of inspiration.

Thankfully I came across BloggingZoom when I did, because it’s opened me up to a whole bunch of new bloggers to link to, and also draw inspiration from for new posts on my own site.

Before BZ I’d never heard of Grizzly, or Ruchir at TechnoMoney. He wants to be the next John Chow, and he posts a lot of interesting stuff. Oh, and he’s in grade 10, by the way. Or Eric Socia. He’s in the process of getting his blog going and trying to make some money doing it along the way. It’s interesting to follow along.

Sometimes looking at blogs outside of your niche can provide inspiration as well. Have a look at Aaron Brazell of Technosailor. Or Tony Hung at Deep Jive Interests.

Or build up a couple of posts in your queue to post in the future and take a day or two off to recharge. Go into the big blue room and breathe a little. Do something different.

Whatever it takes.

Griz - I’m certainly trying. Life’s not much fun without friends.
