Stuff I Didn’t Get To This Week (Vol. II)

This is going to be a weekly round-up of stuff that I found during the week that I thought BloggingNotes readers might find useful or interesting that I either couldn’t work into a post, or I just didn’t get time for it. It’ll get posted usually around noon, Pacific Time, each Friday (hopefully, anyway. It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted Vol. I)

• Brian at ElitebyDesign has a Surefire Way To Get More Subscribers, which focuses on placement of your RSS feed icons. This is something that I hope to address myself in the next little while if I intend to meet my blogging goals for 2008.
• Let’s Make Money Right Now is an eye-opening post by Griz that I decided to try and put into practice (on another site I created last night) with the intention of seeing if it can bring in some revenue. I’ll keep you posted on results.
• In a similar vein, Internet Marketing guru Courtney Tuttle posted an Introduction to Keyword Sniping. I’m going to give this a try in conjunction with following Griz’s advice.
• Every Great Headline Needs An Even Better Opening Paragraph is a guest post by Mark Smith on Daily Blog Tips, which, in addition to winning the Longest Post Title of the Week award made me realize that, while the title is where you hook someone into at least reading your post, if it all goes downhill from there, they still won’t hang around to finish reading the post. I always knew this, but sometimes you just need a reminder, y’know?

That’s it for this week. Hopefully I’ll have more next Friday, but next week is going to be kind of weird, what with Christmas, and Boxing Day (in the Commonwealth, anyway) so we’ll just have to see.
